Small Successes During Isolation

Hey lovelies, I've literally struggled really hard with my first week of isolation. I live on my own as it is and I've gone from living such a fast pace life to doing the most minimal during the day, and it's really affected me. I don't think there is any shame in admitting this has been hard because I think this will the case for many people. I've only left my house twice for food shopping because online shopping really wasn't going to happen. I've done a lot of things inside my house and I thought I'd share some of my successes! If you're in need of an activity check out my 30 Things To During Isolation.

30 Meal Ideas For Isolation

Hey lovelies, the whole stockpiling thing in the UK is actually getting really wild. I've barely been able to buy all the food I would regularly, and I long for the day I can get pasta 24/7 again. I've been thinking of ideas for food that can be made quickly and easily (or whacked in the slow cooker), and foods that you can bulk make and freeze.

I'm fully aware you may not have all of these ingredients in your cupboards/fridge/freezer. These are just things I have laying about, or things I think would be good to prep.

30 Things To Do During Isolation

Hey lovelies, if isolation is making you as bored as I am then this might be super helpful for you! I'm doing my best to do my bit by staying at home and avoiding contact with other people as much as possible. All I've done is watch Netflix and eat ramen and for the most part I'm living my best life at home.

AD | Gaston Luga Review

GIFTED | Hey lovelies, today I'm going to be sharing with you a review of an amazing new bag that I recently received from Gaston Luga. I'm a massive bag snob, I'm really particular about the bags and the brands that I use. I've always been the kind of person that will save up to buy nice bags, as I've always loved having Dr Marten bags or leather satchels so I was really excited to try a Gaston Luga Parlan bag.

Things To Do At Home During Coronavirus Isolation

Hey lovelies, it feels so weird to be even writing this post or the title. I'm trying to take isolation on the chin, trying to make the most of it and forget that I'm out of a job and I have enough money to support myself for around three-five months at the most (which I know puts me in a better situation than most) but it's still terrifying really. So I thought that I would share with you some of the things that I will be doing during the isolation period to stay sane, and to make the most of my time as I will probably never have this much time without work ever again.

Supporting Local Businesses Through COVID-19

Hey lovelies, I can't believe how crazy things are right now. I'm not going to lie, I'm really worried about the future right now. When the government issued a statement Monday opting people not to go out to pubs, clubs etc it literally killed the industry I worked in and subsequently I am now without a job. I've worked in the same events venue for five years, and I'm not sure if it will survive this but lets hope for the best. Today, I wanted to talk about ways you can support your local/independent businesses and online sellers, right now it is so important to keep these businesses alive and above water! I know not everyone has expendable funds right now but there are still ways you can help.

GUEST POST | Why cutting my screen time was the best thing ever

Why cutting my phone screen time was the best thing ever 🌟

Hey! I’m Sarah from the blog Sarah Eliza and I’m so excited to be sharing a post on Kayleigh’s fabulous site! Over on my blog you can find all sorts of productivity tips, and cruelty-free beauty picks and lifestyle content.

I’ve always been someone who’s been glued to their phone - never with much purpose but endless scrolling through twitter, then instagram, then facebook and then back to twitter. It’s also quite hard when you’re a blogger to feel you can take a break from socials. But, it was last year when my phone started to give me little reminders of how much I was using my phone that I realised I needed to cut it down. I really started to consciously cut down the amount I was using my phone, when I use it and how. I tried to focus on only using it when I really needed it and not being the thing I picked up first thing in the morning and last thing I put down in the evening. Now, over a year later, I think it’s one of the best things I’ve done for myself and here’s why.

Make Your Personal Health Easier To Manage

When we think of self-care and health maintenance, and living a fit lifestyle, it’s easy to think of all the hardships we must endure to get there. Not only do we need to keep an obsessive view over our diet, but we also need to exercise heavily each and every day with no rest in order to get even marginally fitter. Of course, this is not true in the slightest. But it is true that a radical change in how an unhealthy lifestyle is lived is needed if it’s to ever improve.

How To Choose The Right Course

Something that should play one of the most significant roles in what you choose to study should be your passions. The secret to loving what you study, and what you might do in the future in terms of work is having a passion for it.

University should be a commitment that you want to make because you are invested in your future, but also because you will be studying something that you what to learn more about.
