Pinterest Mistakes You're Making

Hey lovelies, it is bank holiday weekend and it gorgeous outside. I've spent most of mine inside eating strawberries, drinking homemade vodka mango slushies and figuring out what mistakes I've been making with Pinterest. I think this is helpful to share because Pinterest can be a mindfield if you don't know what you're doing and you're wondering why your starts/followers/views aren't going up. I've been there too - I've had some bad days for traffic and I'll be sharing that too. Check out my 2.2 million impression on Pinterest in 30 days

How I Make Money From My Blog

Hey lovelies, I often get a lot of questions from people about how I make money from my blog, lately I've been really active about tweeting about it because I'm really happy. This month I've made well over $1200 and I'm honestly so proud of myself. I've been on this space on the internet for almost five years and this is my best month by a long short. Before I get started I want to state there is no easy route to make money, it requires work and dedication and it won't always happen over night. It definitely didn't in my case.

AD| How to Carve Out an Inspiring Space to Blog at Home

Having a home office is a blessing when you’re working from home, especially for creative efforts such as blogging. While not everyone has a spare room to turn into a home office, it’s also possible to create an inspiring corner in rooms where work isn’t the primary function.

Think about the environment that suits you best. We’re all different and what is an ideal working atmosphere for one might drive someone else mad. Maybe you need some background noise, for instance, in order to think clearly. On the other hand you may do your best work in total silence.

Decide which atmosphere would most encourage and motivate you to get (or continue) blogging, and then explore areas of your house where you could set up your workspace.

I've been thinking of ideas for food that can be made quickly and easily (or whacked in the slow cooker), and foods that you can bulk make and freeze.

I'm fully aware you may not have all of these ingredients in your cupboards/fridge/freezer. These are just things I have laying about, or things I think would be good to prep.

Supporting Local Businesses Through COVID-19

GUEST POST | Why cutting my screen time was the best thing ever

Why cutting my phone screen time was the best thing ever 🌟

Hey! I’m Sarah from the blog Sarah Eliza and I’m so excited to be sharing a post on Kayleigh’s fabulous site! Over on my blog you can find all sorts of productivity tips, and cruelty-free beauty picks and lifestyle content.

I’ve always been someone who’s been glued to their phone - never with much purpose but endless scrolling through twitter, then instagram, then facebook and then back to twitter. It’s also quite hard when you’re a blogger to feel you can take a break from socials. But, it was last year when my phone started to give me little reminders of how much I was using my phone that I realised I needed to cut it down. I really started to consciously cut down the amount I was using my phone, when I use it and how. I tried to focus on only using it when I really needed it and not being the thing I picked up first thing in the morning and last thing I put down in the evening. Now, over a year later, I think it’s one of the best things I’ve done for myself and here’s why.

Make Your Personal Health Easier To Manage

When we think of self-care and health maintenance, and living a fit lifestyle, it’s easy to think of all the hardships we must endure to get there. Not only do we need to keep an obsessive view over our diet, but we also need to exercise heavily each and every day with no rest in order to get even marginally fitter. Of course, this is not true in the slightest. But it is true that a radical change in how an unhealthy lifestyle is lived is needed if it’s to ever improve.

How To Choose The Right Course

Something that should play one of the most significant roles in what you choose to study should be your passions. The secret to loving what you study, and what you might do in the future in terms of work is having a passion for it.

University should be a commitment that you want to make because you are invested in your future, but also because you will be studying something that you what to learn more about.
