Needing Money Fast*

Hey lovelies, I think most of us can relate to a time in our lives when we really needed money. Modern day living can make saving a very difficult task, and not all of us have a safety blanket - as my nana puts it!

For me moving always happens to fall at the time of year where my work is the quietest, and I have the least amount of money because of settling up bills and getting ready to pay referencing fees/moving costs. Here's some little tips I have for making money fast that may help.

Depop/Ebay

Naturally because I'm moving when I generally need money I always find bits and bobs I haven't used in a year or so or things that I know I haven't ever touched and will never touch, old clothes etc. It's easy enough to pop these on Ebay/depop to make a little bit of extra cash here and there if you need. Normally I donate old clothes or recycle them but I've sold the occasion asos dress and it's worked pretty well for me, please note depop/ebay take a fee too!

Getting a second job

I'm only suggesting this one because I actually know a fair amount of people who have done this and are happy with it, if you work a 9-5 job it is possible to get a small weekend or evening job around this. I know that its hard work, but sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures. The perks to getting a bar or waiting job would be getting tips around the pay too. I know this option isn't for everyone but I know it has worked for other people!

Online Surveys/ Writing

I know many people do online surveys, or small freelance writing jobs for a little bit of extra cash. Now I know it's not the easiest to find online writing jobs if you don't normally freelance but there are facebook groups or twitter hashtags that you can follow that will push you in the right area. Don't forget if you already have a website you can use affiliate links or google adsense to make small amounts of extra cash here and there.

Loans

I know this option won't be for everyone and can be a very sensitive subject and I understand that. Sometimes family members may be able to help you out of a bad financial situation but if not then looking into getting a loan or payday loan might be an option you consider. Cash Lady* is a online website that allows you to search short term loans and providers and might advise you why to research no credit check loans. There website is family run and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Thanks for reading and I hope that these tips have been really helpful for you, I'd love to know how you make money quickly and if you have any tips feel free to share them in the comments.
