March favourites

Hey lovelies, so it's time for me to share my monthly favourites, I really loved the layout of last months favourites so thats how I'm going to do them from now on!

1) My phone - I broke my phone earlier in the month and went without it for 8 days which isn't a lot but it made me so happy to be able to talk to my family again when it was fixed.

2) Candles - I just love candles.

3) Cloudy Lemonade - I don't actually like regular lemonade but I love cloudy lemonade it's the perfect bitter sweet mix.

4) Reading - I've read so much this month from my TBR pile and it's been great!

5) Chanel Chance - My all time favourite perfume it honestly smells heavenly.

6) Patches - I've been sewing/ironing on patches on everything I own, I collect patches and thought it was time to start using them.

7) Crown Brushes - I've been using them so much the quality is amazing and they're so aesthetically pleasing.

8) Leather Jackets - It's spring which means its getting to the point I need to ditch my coat and what a jacket, I'm really feeling a floral printed jacket.

9) My tattoo - I got tattooed in February but a few days after got the worst batch of food poisoning so now it's healed I love it!

10) Uni - I've feeling so nostalgic about uni with less than two months to go it's crazy how fast my three years here have gone.

11) Soya hot chocolates - I'm normally a coffee person but I've really enjoyed a few hot chocolates this month.

So these are my favourites this month, what things have you been loving this month? I'd love to know!

Soap and Glory Makeup Review

Hey lovelies, I recently won a ton of soap and glory products from a twitter giveaway and some of this products happened to be makeup bits that I thought I'd review for you! I've always wanted to try some and now I've had the chance.

Thick & Fast - I've heard so much about this mascara and I've been dying to try it, I wasn't a fan of the application brush and the formula was very wet and gloppy? If you get what I mean but I found that one coat made such a big difference to my eyelashes, two coats and it almost looked like I had false lashes. I definitely felt like my lashes were lifted and it definitely happened quick. I'm not a fan of mascara really because I don't lie the drying feeling but I would recommend this so much.

Kick Ass Concealer - This concealer actually has three concealers inside it, a peach tone, a yellow tone and a powder. I found the peach tone to be super helpful for my under-eyes as it really helped covered my bags but I just didn't take a liking to the peach concealer, I'm also not a fan of powder really I much prefer liquid concealers.

Hocus Pocus Illuminator - Now this product says on the back that it does so much for your pores and I never once thought this - it helped but nothing amazing. But, it definitely gives you that illuminated glow and a very noticeable glow. I absolutely loved using this product it felt really high end and made your face glow so much.

I'd love to know if you've tried any Soap and Glory makeup products and what you thought of them. I'm going to be picking up some of their lipsticks to try.

Blogs You Need To Read This Month

Hey lovelies, I thought I'd share with you the blogs I've been loving lately - I haven't shared the blogs I've been reading in a long while so I hope you like this post.

Vix Meldrew - I know I mention Vix in my favourite blog posts a-lot but I just love her blog so much, her writing on dating is amazing and so insightful. I love her photography and lifestyle posts and I hope to attend on of her dating events this year if she runs anymore!

Heart Shaped Bones - I just love Jess and her blog but this month her fashion posts have gone above and beyond and I just love her recent post on fashion blogging and originality! Her photography and content are just amazing.

Midnight and Lace - I love Robyn's blog so much, I love the variety of content that she makes and her fashion and hauls are my favourites. I really loved her Just a girl post this month - it's definetly worth a read!

Salt and Chic - I love Amy's blog so so much, her fashion and travel posts are just amazing. I've been reading her Iceland post on repeat as I'm hoping to go later in the year and Amy inspires so many of my outfit purchases.

Leanne Lim Walker - I have watched Leanne's Youtube forever - it's hands down my favourite, I often forget that she has a blog as well and I've been reading it so much this month and loving it. Also how gorgeous is her photography?

Katie Middleton - I've been reading Katie's blog on a off for a long time but this month I've been loving her beauty posts so much especially her Colourpop reviews and her has the blogging community changed this month.

Food and Baker - My favourite food blog hands down. I love their recipe posts and their budget series was amazing which is definitely something worth reading and they also have a lean series too which is fabulous.

These are a couple blogs you need to read, they're all amazing and I recommend them - I might try to make this a monthly post.

Technic makeup review*

Hey lovelies, so recently I was sent some lovely bits from Technic* to try out and honestly I was so excited, they're a brand I've heard alot about but never got around to trying.

Eyebrow Defining Pen ( shade medium brown) - I absolutely love this pen. It's a liquid liner and when you apply it it's alot darker than when it dries. The medium brown is the perfect shade for me - my eyebrows are very light and I find most eyebrow products are just too dark! It takes 20-30 to dry and the application is so smooth. I don't love brow products often but this has become my everyday eyebrow products.

Mega Lash - I'm not really a fan of mascara all together so I was a little negative with this product before I even tried it. It works amazingly though, the application is really  easy, it's not too sticky and it stays for a long time. Not sure it made my lashes look any bigger, but I did like it!

Colour Correcting Setting powder -  This product is amazing for covering dark under-eyes and correcting redness. I was really sceptical when using this but it did wonders for me. I find that using it on a fan brush worked best and I honestly was blown away. I haven't tried a lot of colour correcting products so this changed the game for me.

Shimmer Eyeshadow Primer - I've been dying to get an eyeshadow primer because I have only tried a few, I was kinda disappointed that this was based for just shimmer shades as shimmer eyeshadows are my least favourite. But I found that these worked really well. It also is super shimmer so definitely adds some extra sparkle haha.

I really enjoyed the quality of products from this brand and I can't believe how cheap most of the products are! I did also receive two highlighters but my postman decided to attempt to fit the package through my post box and it smashed both. I really loved trying this brand and I can't wait to try more.

A Lush Haul

Hey lovelies, so I'm pretty much always shopping at lush and buying new things to try. I brought some bits and bobs when I was at Oxford Street I tried to pick up some bits are different to what I normally use.  I did also pick up some exclusive bath bombs but I've already used them, I got the cyanide pill bath bomb and the roller and both were honestly amazing - I definitely recommend them if you can get to the Oxford Street Store.

Plum Rain Shower gel - I was actually at the Oxford Street lush store the day this product was released so I just had to get a bottle. I'd heard good things about it before but never tried it. When it comes to shoer gels I prefer a sweeter scent but Plum rain has a really strong mandarin scent with undertones of plum. It's really quite gorgeous. I'm not sure I'll use it everyday but I really love the scent. I went for a medium bottle but I do wish I'd got a large as I might enjoy this more in Autumn.

Montalbano Shampoo Bars - I'm a massive fan of the lush shampoo bars they work so well! I dye my hair often and this shampoo makes my hair feel so much smoother and softer and just healthier. I went for this particular bar because I absolutely love the lemon scent. It smells like fresh cut lemons with a hint of rosemary. I also got one of the lush tins to keep it in because they keep the bars nice.

Cup O'coffee face mask - This is one of my favourite face masks. I definitely prefer the fresh face masks because of they have a nicer texture. The coffee smell is absolutely gorgeous and it's literally like a fresh shot of espresso so if you like coffee then I definitely recommend it. The face mask is really easy to apply, I prefer to have thick layer of it on. I find that it really does stick to me when I remove the mask and I find the small bits everywhere but it leaves my skin smelling amazing and feeling very hydrated and soft.

So here are some bits I picked up, I've also almost tried everything from the valentines day collection and I'm loving it. I'd love to know what bits from lush you're loving right now. I have a couple more lush reviews be sure to check them out!

Crown Brush Review*

Hey lovelies, recently I received the most beautiful makeup brushes in the post from the lovely Crown Brush* I don't have many good quality makeup brushes so it was really nice to try out these brushes! Please note I don't tend to wear makeup everyday so if my brush lingo isn't great I'm sorry.

SS031 Deluxe Lip Brush - This is the only brush from the ones I received that I've been hesitant to use. I don't really have a need for a lip brush and having never used one before I found it to be a really weird sensation. I might grow to love this brush more but right now it's not a favourite of mine because I have very little use for it!

SS021 Blending Brush  - I loved this brush, I used it to apply both eyeshadow and contour. It worked a lot better for eyeshadow as it blended beautiful and I found that even lightly pressing it the results where amazing. I didn't love it as much with contour but that might just be me being fussy,

SS011 Oval Shadow Brush - I loved this brush, it was so soft and worked so well. I have very few good eyeshadow brushes and it just made me want to wear eyeshadow more.

SS003 Oval Foundation Brush - I found this brush was amazing for applying foundation, I tend to use a beauty blender because I find them to much easier than brushes to apply foundation evenly. But this brush worked amazingly, the foundation applied really evenly and that I could reach the more difficult places so well ( side of nose etc). I would 100% recommend this to anyone who prefers a brush to beauty blender its just amazing!

SS032 Pointed Blender Brush - This wasn't a brush I tried at all. I just didn't feel inspired to use it - although I hope I will in the future.

SS035 Medium Face Contour Brush - I often don't wear contour very often so I've used this brush for both my contour and blush and found it did the job very well! The fibres held enough powder to apply the product well and it wasn't patchy either.

I'd love to know what brushes you use for your makeup, and if you've ever tried CrownBrush before! I really love the brushes and I can't wait to try more in the future.

My Favourite University Memories With Printiki*

Hey everyone, it's  March which means that I have little over two months left at University before my final degree show and then graduation. I'm lucky to have had some amazing experiences why at university so I'd thought I'd share them with you thanks to Printiki* - Printiki offer a wide range of print services - I personally got the medium squared photos with a border. I went for a matte finish as well.
