My RUSH Milton Keynes experience*

Hey lovelies, so a few weeks back I got a very exciting email from the people at RUSH offering me a haircut. Now I'm ridiculously nervous when it comes to hairdressers, I have some of the worst anxiety ever so I genuienly am surprised I even said yes. Normally it takes a lot to get me to the hairdressers, but I'm so happy because I had such a great haircut and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

When I got to Milton Keynes Centre it took me less than two minutes to find the building, I did a little shopping, got a few bits from lush and then when it was time for my cut. I'm not going to lie I was so nervous! As I walked in I was introduced to my hairdresser Arthur, and show up stairs to the actual salon. Which I'd like to add, it was literally like walking into heaven. Everything was so crisp and white, with a ton of mirrors, it was so classy and I could even see where they made the coffee. Arthur offered me a drink and I asked for a black coffee. This is where my only negative criticism comes in, in 2016 when I order a coffee I expect a place to have soya milk. I'm sorry but I do because  milk just isn't for everyone and some of us have allergies! Arthur apologised and I understood, but RUSH please try to cater for this in future.

Moving on from the coffee, I had my hair washed and conditioned. This is probably the part I dreaded the most, I'm not massively fond of people touching me especially my hair. He made me feel so relaxed and calmed me down so much. I genuinely enjoyed the experience because of Arthur. He made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and I feel every hair experience should be this way. Arthur also walked through all the products that were used so I knew exactly what he was putting on my hair! I also brought some of the products too.

After washing my hair, he sat down next to me and throughly went through what I wanted and advised on what was best. When I asked for his honest opinion on what to get done he told me what he thought would best sort my ideal hair cut. He started the cut and we talked about Game Of Thrones, travelling and blogging and it was just fab. He double checked every time he cut my hair to make sure it was the right length and that it is what I wanted.  He then dried and straightened my hair and I really felt great! I'm pretty sure there isn't anything like a good haircut. I enjoyed my haircut so much and for me that really is a big thing, I couldn't be more happy with the amazing job Arthur did.

I'd love to know if you've had any hairdressing experiences with RUSH and what you thought! I'm so chuffed with how my hair looks, it just feels so much healthier and happier. I've booked in for another appointment I was so impressed by the job that they did!
