Laduree Macaroons

Hey guys! So I recently got some macaroons from the amazing laduree london. I actually had a really really awful experience in store where I was pretty sure that I was going to get mugged by a guy who was very shady and would not leave my family alone, ontop of that we waited almost 30 minutes to get served and ended up walking out because it really wasn't great at all. In the end I ended up getting some macaroons to go.

The flavours I got were salted caramel, pistachio, green apple, rose, coffee and almond. First up I was not a fan of the green apple it was like a skittle it was soooo bitter and I did not like it one bit. The coffee, rose, pistachio are my ultimate favs they are the perfect balance of sweet and bitter and the rose is just amazing and doesn't taste like anything else I've ever had in my life. The almond is very nutty and has such a stereotypical taste for a macaroon if you get what I mean. At £16 for 6  they are very pricey and not all flavours are worth it but if you are around convent garden I would pick up a few as you can buy them individually!

If you're a macaroon fan please let me know what your favourites are!

Mac Lipsticks Up the Amp/ New York Apple

Hey guys!

So I brought another two Mac lipsticks! I've really been loving mac shades this month ( I've got a ton of LimeCrime on the way I went a little bit crazy haha with cosmetics) I brought these from the Leicester Square Store and they were packed so I just tried a ton of lipsticks and oh my god did I love  some of the shades.

So the first shade I got was Up the Amp, now not to lie this shade is gorgeous I don't normally wear natural shades I prefer really bright colours and colours that really stand out. But when I swatched this it just reminded me of Polly from Lime Crime but a paler and more purple which isn't really super natural but haha. I brought it because of this and because everyone needs pinky purple  colour in there makeup bag! Haha. I will insert photos of me wearing this at the bottom of the post. I would suggest getting a lip liner for this as it does come of a little bit quicker than most mac lipsticks.

The second shade I got, was New York Apple and this was stunning! I had seen people hyping about this shade for a long time. Its a sheer shade that is really glittery but quite a deep red if you get what I mean. It's stunning on and this is why I brought it. I love the shine that it has and it just lovely. I wore my lip liner brick under it because it was the closest shade that I have and its just so nice. If you love reds then this is something that I would suggest because it is so different to anything else that I own in my red lipstick collection.

So yes! I'm very happy with these they are lovely, and if you haven't check the shades out in store or online.  Thanks for reading and let me know what you think!

Skinny Dip London Haul/ Review

Hey guys!

I had an AMAZING time in London, I'm so lucky to be a train journey away from the big city haha. But I've been planning on going to Skinny dip for a long time because well they make the nicest things! And there prints on everything are just hella cool ( I love the bat shit cray print and avocado)

So when I was walking around the store at Carnaby, the guy who was working there was a sweetheart he helped me find everything I wanted and checked online for the things that were sold out in store. The first thing that I got was the Pink Holographic purse! I absolutely adored it and it was just soon shiny.

The second thing I picked up was the "Babe- Magnet" Toiletry bag, I got this because. It is just so punny it's a really good size and I just thing that it is great! It's quite a pale colour and very pastel. Which really suites the bag. I haven't seen this on the website before or anyone have it so I thought why not?The bag was £16 which for a decent travel bag is not too pricey.

The next thing that I got was the Alphabet Stickers, I got these for my purse. Which I got in a letter K and Z this is because those are my initials! Unfortunately I appear to be colour blind and got one on a bronze colour and one in a gold colour but they work together haha! I put these on my pink purse which I thought looked hella cute.

To round my trip off I brought a portable charge. I got this because I was running out of phone charge on the train and I really wanted to take more photos for my blog. The charge is super compact and really really good, it charged my phone up really quickly and I will be taking it everywhere. For £20 this was a bargainnnnn.

So this was my Skinny Dip Haul! Hope you liked and if you haven't I suggest going to the store, because the staff and the store are just 150%!

Lush Oxford Street Mini Haul

Hey guys!

So I did a lot of things in London if you couldn't tell with all of these posts haha. But oh my god I went to the Lush Oxford Street Store. I've only ever been there once before and it's changed soon much since then.

It was a little bit like heaven for me. They had soooo many products at the store, and when I walked in they ere testing a bubble bar and there were bubbles everywhere. On the first floor there was too many bath bombs, bath bars, bubbleroons and shower jellies/ shower jel. I literally didn't know where to look first.  I went around all three floors of the store before picking what to buy. Because unfortunately we went to Lush first in the day and we were doing a lot of exploring so I didn't want to buy too much and be lugged down.

So after a lot of debating, I picked up the the Lord of Misrule Shower Jel this is because they don't sell it at the stores near me anymore. Because it is out of season and one of my favourite products, they did have the bigger bottle than what I got, but it had leaked a little bit so I went for the 250ml bottle instead. It smells amazing so I'm too happy that I got it.

The second product that I got was the 93,000 miles. I was very happy with this until it leaked all in my bag! I put the lush bag in my handbag to make it easier to carry other bags. So I was a little bit gutted by this. There is still quite a bit of the product left, but it looks like it's been used in the pot. So I might give a wash and then try as I can't return the product obviously because I don't live in london. But it does smell really really good so I would suggest it!

Thank you for reading guys and let me know if you've been to Lush Oxford Street as it is a small slice of heaven to us lushies haha!

First MXCI purchase

Hey guys,

So I recently ordered from the brand MXCI, I've been looking at them for a while,  I've been lusting over the witchcraft collection for so long it has felt like forever. I didn't buy the dress this time round because I'm still very cautious of what the sizing might be like but I have brought a tote bag!

I decided to make my first purchase from then when my artist friend Jess made a collaborative project with them which can be found on there website and you should for sure check it out because everything in the collection is limited to 25 pieces per items.

I got the "You can do it Bruce" Tote bag, I'm not a massive fan of Matilda but I thought this was amazing because cake! The text and quality of the print is just stunning an of course the actual illustration is stunning because Jess did it.

The bag itself is a really decent size being just over A4 I believe and really spacious it can fit a ton of envelopes in it and my mac as well! And for £10 it was an absolute bargain.

The tag that came on the bag was such a cute collaborative idea and I love it, I've still got it on my bag as it was too cute to take off!

So I would really suggest getting this or the jumper that they made and the things I found really amazing about this order is I ordered this Monday during the day. It arrived first thing Wednesday which was amazingly fast for companies! I was soon happy with and will be buying some clothes from the next month! So I will write a longer review then.

So let me know of you've ever brought anything from MXCI and what you think of the collaboration!

Mac Lipstick Review | Dark Side Amplified

Hey guys!

So when I went home last weekend I was able to go to the MAC store, where I am at university there isn't one close to me at all. So it was time to pick up a new lipstick. At first I was looking for a plush pink similar to LimeCrime's Polly ( but I decided to buy polly instead after online a I couldn't find one similar) I swatched a lot of shades but in the end it was between Dark Side and Dare You and I went for Dark Side because it was slightly darker.

Dark Side Amplified is described as a deep burgundy colour, it is actually a lot more purpley than  a red. It is not a matt shade but it does stay on very well even without a lip liner! I wouldn't suggest this shade if your shade if you don't like very bold. I'm very pale so this stands out a lot on me. I would buy a lip liner for this as well if you can but it isn't necessary, if you're using a mac shade I'd go for Beet or Plum! ( I have both and they work just fine underneath.

So yes! New lipstick, tell me what mac shades you love? I'm looking to buy Soar next and I'm excited for it.

April Lush Haul!

Hey guys! So, I went home last weekend and was lucky enough to get over to Lakeside at Thurrock, which for those not from the Essex area it is a place of dreams for anyone with a shopping addiction. They have everything you can ever want from makeup to clothes to tech. The lush store there recently moved into a bigger shop and I had to see it! It was short of heaven.

So here is what I got, we'll start with the shower jelly because it smells amazing. I've wrote about this product before but it's amazing and a must have. I love how great it smells it's so citrusy and smells like heaven. I also love the jelly texture as well, it's just too die for.

This is a product that I have used many times and already own one that I use all the time, but it's running out. I have really sore lips from constantly biting them and this is the only product that helps my lips at all! It is so sweet tasting and it like candy floss I adore it. It is just amazing.

I also got the Green Bath bubbleroon, which smells delicious, and very very limey. I haven't used this product before but it reminds me very much of the Rose Jam with the smell. Its too glittery and I absolutely adore it, and I will definitely be purchasing it again.

I then got the Zuzu and Cocoa, simply because again I have not ever used it before. I am very interested in this product because it's such a lovely colour and has such a lovely smell of grapefruit! It is also very very glittery which is forever a massive perk of Lush products!

I then got the Karma bubble bar, it smells lush. I've seen so many instagram photos of this in the bath and it looks like such a lovely purple colour! It is so pretty and so glittery and I absolutely love this. I also love the aesthetic of it so I will write a review when I use it.

So let me know what you think!
